Meet The Magnopians Blog Series

At Magnopus, I was responsible for managing the company blog and ensuring the content published was engaging, high-quality, and reflective of our work and people. While we aimed for thought leadership articles written by colleagues, time constraints meant we weren’t consistently getting enough content. I wanted to create an evergreen series that could be led by the marketing team, providing a quick win that still felt valuable and interesting.

I published 22 Meet The Magnopians in my time at Magnopus - and it’s carried on even after I left!

Concept & Creation

That’s when I created Meet The Magnopians. While a ‘meet our team members’ article isn’t groundbreaking, the unique aspect was in the title and the questions I asked. As well as standard prompts like “what are you reading,” I designed questions to uncover colleagues’ true superpowers and reveal insights that even their teammates didn’t know.

Execution & Collaboration

I put out regular calls on Slack for volunteers and was delighted when colleagues came forward. This built a back catalogue of interviews that we could publish monthly. I also collaborated with the recruitment team to highlight key roles, ensuring the series helped potential new hires connect with the team before joining. I made a point to interview a diverse range of colleagues across the UK and US, keeping each set of questions fresh and engaging.

Distribution & Impact

The articles were shared on the blog, social media, and internally via Slack, and were very well received. Even though I have since left Magnopus, the series continues today, which I’m really proud of. It successfully showcased the team, supported recruitment, and created a consistent, engaging piece of content that reflected the company culture.
