Entering Tennisables into the Web Excellence Awards

When I noticed that momentum for the LTA Tennisables project was stalling due to seasonal timing, I saw an opportunity to raise the profile of the campaign and add prestige to the Infinite Form brand. I suggested entering the project into the Web Excellence Awards to showcase the work, celebrate its impact, and create a high-value case study highlight.

Identifying the right awards

I researched potential awards that would be cost-effective and low-effort to enter while giving the campaign maximum visibility. I settled on the Web Excellence Awards because they aligned with our goals: they were reputable, the entry process was straightforward, and the timing worked well with the campaign schedule. I then identified three categories to enter, choosing ones that offered the best chance of recognition based on fewer past entrants and alignment with Tennisables’ strengths, including social good, sports, children & youth, and innovative use of technology.

Crafting the submission

I wrote the award entry copy, presenting the project’s objectives, immersive WebAR experiences, and measurable engagement in a clear, compelling way. Once drafted, I shared it with the client for review and approval, ensuring all details were accurate and highlighted the campaign’s unique impact.

Celebrating and sharing success

The project went on to win three awards: Advertising & Marketing(AR & VR), Apps & Mobile (Augmented Reality) and Website, Children & Youth. After the results were announced, I communicated the wins to the client and shared the news across our social channels to maximise visibility and celebrate the success of the campaign and the Infinite Form team.
